Erat Residence has a genuinely distinctive idea behind it — and that's what makes it worth a look. Most condos chase the smallest, cheapest units; Erat instead leans into family and inclusivity, with a "Youniversal" design that works for children and grandparents alike, well-sized 3–4 bedroom homes, and the kind of communal facilities that actually get used.
The practical wins are real: it's freehold, it gives you 2–3 car parks (rare for a condo), and it sits next to an international school, a short stroll from Taman Tasik Alam Impian and LakePoint. For a family that wants to put down roots in the Shah Alam / Kota Kemuning belt, that's a strong combination.
Be clear-eyed about the trade-offs: it completes in 2028, units are bare (budget for renovation), and while it's superbly connected by road, it isn't a walk-to-rail location — this is township living. The penthouse is also already gone.

It's built around a large lake and park (Taman Tasik Alam Impian), with the LakePoint lifestyle precinct, an urban marketplace, mosques, schools and retail all within the neighbourhood. Erat Residence places a freehold home right in the middle of it, next to Eaton International School.
Day to day, you're minutes from Alam Impian's retail and the lake, with Giant Kemuning, Aeon Big Bukit Rimau, Gamuda Walk and Aeon Shah Alam all a short drive away, and hospitals such as SALAM, KPJ Selangor, Columbia Asia and Avisena within reach. The Federal Highway, KESAS, LKSA, WCE, NKVE and DASH fan out in every direction, putting Klang, Shah Alam, Cyberjaya and central KL within comfortable reach.
Alam Impian offers space, greenery and value in a mature setting — and a freehold, family-sized home here is exactly the kind of property that holds its appeal. The trade-off is that it's township living: superb by car, but not a walk-to-rail location.
